2.28, 2.29, 2.40, 2.45, AND 2.46 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
SAN CLEMENTE, RELATING TO THE BEACHES, PARKS AND RECREATION
COMMISSION, COASTAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE, HUMAN AFFAIRS
COMMITTEE, ARTS AND CULTURE COMMITTEE, AND PUBLIC SAFETY
COMMITTEE, RESPECTIVELY.
10E. NOTICE OF COMPLETION - WATER RECLAMATION PLANT (WRP)
SPLITTER BOX REHABILITATION
Staff Recommendation
Adopt Resolution No. 25-43, which will:
1. Accept the WRP Splitter Box Rehabilitation, Project No. 14206, from the
contractor, Jennette Company, Inc.
2. Authorize the City Clerk to execute and record the Notice of Completion
for the completed WRP Splitter Box Rehabilitation.
3. Authorize the City Clerk to release the Payment Bond 35 days from the
recordation of the Notice of Completion upon verification with the
Engineering Division that no liens have been levied against the contractor,
Jennette Company, Inc.
4. Authorize the City Clerk to release the performance bond for this project
upon receipt of a warranty bond in a form acceptable to the Public Works
Director/City Engineer in the amount of 25% of the total construction cost.
10F. CONTRACT AWARD - POCHE BEACH WATER RECLAMATION PROJECT
DIVERSION DESIGN PROJECT AND APPROVING RELATED
APPROPRIATIONS
Staff Recommendation
Adopt Resolution No. 25-44, which will:
1. Award a Professional Consultant Services Agreement to BKF Engineers
for the design of a dry-weather urban runoff diversion as part of the Poche
Beach Water Reclamation Project.
2. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C25-17,
by and between the City of San Clemente and BKF Engineers, providing for
the Poche Beach Water Reclamation Project Diversion Design Project, in an
amount not to exceed $279,440.
3. Authorize an appropriation of $250,000 from an Orange County
Transportation Authority (OCTA) Environmental Cleanup Program Grant
to Account No. 057-543-45300-000-16006.
4. Approve a transfer of $57,000 from Account No. 057-541-43890 (Clean
Ocean Program Stormwater Compliance - Other Contractual Services) to
Account No. 057-543-45300-000-16006.
10G. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVING GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR THE LAND
AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND FOR THE VISTA HERMOSA SPORTS
PARK MEADOWS PROJECT AND THE RALPHS SKATE COURT SKATE
PARK EXPANSION PROJECT
Staff Recommendation
1. Adopt Resolution No. 25-45, entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
THE GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE LAND AND WATER
CONSERVATION FUND VISTA HERMOSA SPORTS PARK MEADOWS
DEVELOPMENT PROJECT.
2. Adopt Resolution No. 25-46, entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
THE GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE LAND AND WATER
CONSERVATION FUND SKATE COURT EXPANSION PROJECT.
10H. CONSIDERATION OF SUBMITTING A LETTER OF OPPOSITION TO THE
CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE REGARDING ASSEMBLY BILL 820
(PELLERIN) - A BILL TO ADD SECTION 50206 TO THE CALIFORNIA
