8. ACCEPTANCE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP – 2025-0007) SUBMITTED BY KRGS
FOR FIRE STATION #361 ROOF REPLACEMENT, AND APPROVAL OF SHORT FORM
CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH KRGS.
Recommended Action:
Staff recommends the City Council:
1.
Based on overall scoring, qualifications, warranty provisions, and best-value considerations,
staff recommends awarding the Roof Replacement Contract to KRGS Roofing in the amount
of $226,500, contingent upon final contract review and approval and;
2.
Authorize the Fire District Administrator/City Manager to execute a Short Form Construction
Agreement with KRGS Roofing for the amount of $260,475.00 (includes 15% contingency). |

Recommended Action:
Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions:
1.
Award the FY 25-26 Street Rehabilitation Project (Project Number 2025-0010) to Sully Miller
Contracting.
2.
Approve an overall project budget of $ 16,323,788, broken down as follow:

bonds, and insurance certificates by Sully Miller Contracting Company.
5.
Find the Project is categorically exempt from review under California Environmental Quality
Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Sections 15301, 15302, 15303, and 15304.
