TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION - HILLSBOROUGH DRIVE AT BEACH BOULEVARD –
FINDING THAT PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT OF
1970, THE PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 15301 CLASS 1
(C) AND APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS – It is recommended the City
Council find that pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, the project is
categorically exempt under Section 15301 Class 1 (c) and will have no significant effect on
the environment and approve the plans and specifications for Traffic Signal Modification –
Hillsborough Drive at Beach Boulevard.

recommended the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute Change Order No. 1
for Capital Improvement Project No. 2025-01, Slurry Seal of Valley View Avenue from
Rosecrans Avenue to 330 Feet South of Alondra Boulevard and Northbound Lanes from
Park Place to Artesia Boulevard, in the amount of $106,789.32.
