20251028 LA County Rosemead City Council Order of Business 5 D. Approve Professional Design Services Agreement for Garvey Park Improvements Project As part of the City’s Fiscal Year 2025–2026 Capital Improvement Program, funds were allocated for multiple improvements at Garvey Park. These improvements include playground design services, picnic shelter and restroom roof replacements, youth center interior renovations, and parking lot reconstruction. On July 15, 2025, the City published a Request for Proposals for design services and received nine proposals. Each proposal was evaluated based on qualifications, approach, references, staffing, pricing, and completeness. Recommendation: That the City Council approve the selection of RHA Landscape Architects-Planners, Inc. and authorize the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Agreement in the amount of $196,350.00.
