Marna O'Brien Park Rubberized Play Surface, CIP 102
Location: Marna O'Brien Park (20505 Palomar St.)
Presented By: Jason Farag , Public Works/ Engineering Department
RECOMMENDATION:
1. Authorize the Interim City Manager to execute a construction contract with R.E.
Schultz Construction, Inc. in the amount of $71,700 for the Marna O'Brien Park
Rubberized Play Surface Project (CIP 102) (Project) and waive any informality or
irregularity in the bid.
2. Authorize the Public Works Director to approve change orders not to exceed 5%
of the construction contract amount, in the amount of $3,585 (contingency).
3. Authorize the Public Works Director to execute a Task Agreement with Interwest
Consulting Group, under their existing on-call services agreement with the City, in
the amount of $19,348.75 for Construction Management and Inspection services
for the Projects, plus Extra Work Authorizations not to exceed $651.25, for a total
not to exceed of $20,000. |
