Highway Safety Improvement Program Cycle 12 Grant for the Citywide Pedestrian
Crossing Improvements Project
RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Accept the California Department of Transportation’s (Caltrans) Highway Safety
Improvement Program (HSIP) Cycle 12 grant funds in the amount of $49,770 for
the Citywide Pedestrian Crossing Improvements Project, Capital Improvement
Program (CIP) Project No. 26-04; and
2. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Program Supplemental
Agreement with Caltrans for the project plans, specifications and estimates
phase of the project; and
3. Adopt two budget amendment resolutions amending the Fiscal Year
appropriating $49,770 in corresponding revenues within the Grant Fund 2301
and expenditures within the Capital Projects Fund 4320 to the Project account. |

(CIP) Project No. 26-02; and
2. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Program Supplemental
Agreement with Caltrans for the project plans, specifications and estimates
phase of the Project ; and
3. Adopt a resolution establishing the City’s eligibility to receive grant funding from
Caltrans and authorize the City Manager to execute any grant-related
documents to receive the Cycle 12 HSIP Grant funds; and
4. Adopt two budget amendment resolutions appropriating $115,380 in
corresponding revenues within the Grant Fund 2301 and expenditures within the
