The agreement with First Transit has been extended multiple times and currently expires in June 2030. During Fiscal Year 2024-25 there was an increase in revenue hours due to traffic delays; therefore, additional appropriations in the amount of $47,864.81 are required to cover a budget shortfall under the contract. The additional appropriations are necessary to process final invoices and the close out the FY 2024-25 contracted services. Recommended Action: City Council approve Change Order #1 with First Transit Inc. for the Alhambra Community Transit and Senior Ride contract; increase contract C2M1938 by $47,864.81, bringing the total revised contract value to $2,556,950.31, subject to approval by the City Manager and City Attorney; direct the Finance Director to appropriate $47,864.81 from Prop A and Prop C Fund Balances; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize the Council’s action.
