The lease of the equipment and related software is funded in the budgets for Fiscal Years 2025-26 and 2026-27. — Recommended Action: 1) Approve a two-year agreement with Flock Safety for the lease of Drone as First Responder (DFR) hardware, software, data, and evidence storage in the amount of $450,000; 2) Authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make any necessary, non-monetary changes to the agreement; 3) Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement; 4) Dispense with competitive bidding pursuant to Buena Park Municipal Code Section 3.28.080 (c) because these items and features can only be obtained from a sole-source vendor; and, 5) Approve a budget amendment in the amount of $85,000 for a 10% contingency and general liability insurance for the term of the agreement.
