Direct staff to prepare a vacant property registration ordinance for consideration at a future public hearing; or 4. Direct staff to investigate/initiate ballot tax measure. CONCLUSION: Proper management, monitoring and marketing of vacant, underutilized, and abandoned sites are crucial to promoting an economically sustainable environment that impact the quality of life for all residents and visitors alike.
