7. Second Reading and Adoption of an Ordinance Amending Del Mar Municipal Code
Section 8.04 to Regulate the Digging of Hazardous Holes on the Public Beach
Recommended Action: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt an Ordinance
(Attachment A) that would amend Chapter 8.04, Beaches, Waterways and Parks, by
adding Section 8.04.100, Digging of Hazardous Holes on a Public Beach, to the Del Mar
Municipal Code (DMMC) regulating the excavation of hazardous holes on Del Mar public
beaches.
