7. Approve Purchase of City Fleet Vehicles – Six (6) Electric Chevrolet Silverado Trucks (Public
Works) and Two (2) Police Detective Vehicles (Police Department)
The City Council will consider: (PW)
a. Authorizing the purchase of six (6) 2026 Chevrolet Silverado electric trucks, or a comparable electric
truck if unavailable, from National Auto Fleet Group through the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing
Program, to replace Public Works Department’s trucks, in an amount not to exceed $379,356 ($63,226 per
truck); and
b. Approving the purchase of two (2) detective vehicles for the Police Department in a total amount not to
exceed $98,000;
c. Authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to execute all documents necessary to complete the
purchases in a form acceptable to the City Attorney. |
