20260203 San Bernandino County Barstow City Council Item 8. ACCEPTANCE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP – 2025-0007) SUBMITTED BY KRGS FOR FIRE STATION #361 ROOF REPLACEMENT, AND APPROVAL OF SHORT FORM CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT WITH KRGS. Recommended Action: Staff recommends the City Council: 1. Based on overall scoring, qualifications, warranty provisions, and best-value considerations, staff recommends awarding the Roof Replacement Contract to KRGS Roofing in the amount of $226,500, contingent upon final contract review and approval and; 2. Authorize the Fire District Administrator/City Manager to execute a Short Form Construction Agreement with KRGS Roofing for the amount of $260,475.00 (includes 15% contingency). 20260203 San Bernandino County Barstow City Council Item 4. FY2026/2027 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ALLOCATION PROJECTS (CDBG) Recommended Action: 1. Conduct a Public Hearing to receive public input on proposed FY 2026-27 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Service Programs and Construction Projects. 2. Review and recommend the Public Service Program(s) and Construction Project(s) to be funded with FY 2026-27 CDBG funding allocations. 3. Direct staff to submit the City Council’s recommendations to San Bernardino County for consideration by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors as part of the FY 2026-27 CDBG funding process.
