AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR BELLFLOWER STREET REHABILITATION\nPROJECT TO VANCE CORPORATION (RICHARD/KAVOUSE)\nRECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends City Council approve an award of construction\ncontract agreement with Vance Corporation, in the amount of $544,100.03, to provide construction\nof Bellflower Street Paving, authorizing project construction contingency in the amount at 5% for\nthe construction, authorizing City Manager or designee to expend the contingency fund, if necessary\nto complete the project, and determine the project is categorically exempt from further\nenvironmental review in accordance with Section 15301 of the state guidelines implementing the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.\nPUBLIC COMMENT: OPEN: CLOSED:
