(SABA/RICHARD)\nRECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends City Council accept the grant from U.S.\nEnvironmental Protection Agency in the amount of $800,000 for the design of Adelanto\nWastewater Treatment Plant Tertiary Improvements project and approve the award of a\nProfessional Service Agreement (PSA) with STANTEC Consulting Services, Inc. in the amount\nof $308,779 for the assessment and recommendations for Adelanto Wastewater Treatment Plant\nTertiary Improvements project, and authorizing the City Manager to sign the agreement on behalf\nof the City Council.\n5

1.\nCLOSED:\nOPEN A PUBLIC HEARING, APPROVE PROPOSED CHANGES TO MAXIMUM RATES, AND\nADOPT RESOLUTION 25-30 ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE\nCHARGES ON THE PROPERTY TAX ROLL FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-26.\n(BURRTEC/FINANCE)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council open a public hearing, and\npass a motion to (1) approve the proposed changes to maximum rates for solid waste collection\nand (2) adopt Resolution 25-30 ordering the levy and collection of solid waste charges on the\nproperty tax roll for Fiscal Year 2025-2026.\nRESOLUTION NO. 25-30\nA RESOLUTION OF THE ADELANTO CITY COUNCIL, ORDERING\nTHE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE FEES BY THE\nCOUNTY TAX COLLECTOR IN THE SAME MANNER AND AT THE\nSAME TIME AS GENERAL TAXES.
