1. ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE OF THE\nCANVASS OF THE ELECTION RETURNS AND STATEMENT OF VOTES CAST BY\nPRECINCT FOR THE OFFICES AT THE NOVEMBER 5, 2024 GENERAL MUNICIPAL\nELECTION AND ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE DESIGNATION\nOF THE MEMBER AND ALTERNATE MEMBER OF THE BOARDS OF DIRECTORS OF\nLOS ANGELES COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NOS. 2 AND 16 – F2M24-38, R2M24-\n50, R2M24-51\nOn November 5, 2024, a General Municipal Election was held in the City of Alhambra at\nwhich the offices of Councilpersons of the Third and Fourth Districts (full term of four years)\nwere voted upon by the electorate. The November 5, 2024 election was consolidated with\nthe Statewide General Election held that same date and the County of Los Angeles was\nrequested to perform certain election services on the City’s behalf, including, but not limited\nto, canvassing the election returns. Adopt Resolution No. R2M24-50 entitled: A Resolution of the Alhambra City\nCouncil accepting the Official Certificate of the Canvass of the Election Returns and\nStatement of Votes Cast by Precinct for the Offices of the Third District and\nCouncilperson of the Fourth District by the electorate at the November 5, 2024\nGeneral Municipal Election and declaring the results thereof; and,

2. Adopt Resolution No. R2M24-51 entitled: A Resolution of the Alhambra City\nCouncil pertaining to the designation of the Member and Alternate Member of the\nBoards of Directors of County Sanitation District Nos. 2 And 16 of Los Angeles\nCounty\nCEREMONIAL\n2. OATH OF OFFICE & FAREWELL CEREMONY – F2M24-38\nThis evening the Alhambra City Council officially accepted the Canvass of Votes for\nthe November 5th General Municipal Election and declared elected Jeff Maloney to\nthe office of Councilperson of the Third District, and Nan “Noya” Wang to the office\nof Councilperson of the Fourth District, the terms of office for which positions shall\nbe four years. Additionally, the City bids farewell to outgoing Mayor Sasha Renée\nPérez who was elected to the California State Senate.\nPRESENTATION OF THE COLORS\nAlhambra Police Department Honor Guard
