2.CONSIDERATION TO ALLOW FOR THE CO-SPONSORING OF THE RACE ON 66 AZUSATWILIGHT BICYCLE RACE TO BE HELD ON JULY 11, 2026, WAIVE SPECIAL EVENTPERMIT APPLICATION FEES, AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION TO ALLOW FOR STREETCLOSURES THE DAY OF THE EVENTRECOMMENDED ACTION:  1) Authorize and adopt Resolution No.2026 - C16 to allow for thetemporary street closure and use of the public right-of way on Azusa Avenue between 5th Street andSanta Fe Avenue, San Gabriel Avenue between 6th Street and the southernmost point of the Metro/HeavyRail lines, and Foothill Blvd between Angeleno Avenue and Dalton Avenue for Twilight CriteriumBicycle Race and activities; 2) Authorize the City Manager to execute the Special Event PermitAgreement with Go Fast-Andiamo of Twilight Criterium Bicycle Race, in a form acceptable to the CityAttorney, on behalf of the City; and 3) Make a finding that the community at large will receive publicbenefits with the Co-sponsorship by the City and waiving of associated event costs.
