COMMUNITY PROMOTIONAL FUND APPLICATION FROM THE ART AND INDUSTRIAL\nWOMEN'S CLUB\nRecommended Action:\nApprove a Community Promotional Fund monetary donation in the amount of $1,000 and\n$623.10 of in-kind donations to the Art and Industrial Women's Club for it's Annual Juneteenth\ncelebration on June 14, 2025 at Sturnacle Park.

FIRST READING AND INTRODUCTION OF AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BARSTOW\nADOPTING OF FIRE HAZARD SEVERITY ZONE DESIGNATIONS IN THE LOCAL\nRESPONSIBILITY AREA\nRecommended Action:\nThat the City Council approve the first reading of Ordinance No. ___-2025 regarding adoption of a\nfire hazard severity zone designations in Local Responsibility Area.

13. APPROVAL OF AMENDED AND RESTATED AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF\nBARSTOW AND BARSTOW HUMANE SOCIETY FOR ANIMAL SHELTERING AND ANIMAL\nCONTROL SERVICES\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve the Amended and Restated Agreement with the\nBarstow Humane Society, which expands the City’s existing contract for animal sheltering\nservices to include animal control services, and authorize the City Manager to execute the\nagreement.
