RECOMMENDATION: It is staff's recommendation that the City Council receive and
file the warrant registers, wire transfers, and net payrolls dated 07/09/2026,

RECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the Successor Agency

10.5 Consideration of Adoption of Ordinance No. 972 Amending Subsection (1) (Failure
to Pay Rent) of Section 5.63.030(C) (For-Cause Termination of Tenancy), of Chapter
5.63 (Tenant Eviction Protections) of Title 5 (Business Licenses, Regulations and
Taxes) of the Bell Gardens Municipal Code
RECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City Council waive full
reading and adopt Ordinance No. 972 amending Subsection (1) (Failure to Pay
Rent) of Section 5.63.030(c)(1) (For-Cause Termination) of Chapter 5.63 (Tenant
Eviction Protections) of Title 5 (Business Licenses, Regulations and Taxes) of the
Bell Gardens Municipal Code.

10.6 Consideration of a Resolution Approving Professional Services Agreements by and
Sagecrest Planning + Environmental, and Interwest Consulting Group, Inc for On-
call, As-Needed Planning Services
RECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City Council adopt the
attached Resolution approving Professional Services Agreements between the City
of Bell Gardens and Moore Iacofano Goltsman, Inc., Psomas, Sagecrest Planning +
Environmental, and Interwest Consulting Group, Inc. for on-call, as-needed
planning services, subject to City Attorney approval as to form.

RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached

enforcement and planning services, subject to City Attorney approval as to form.

RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached
Gardens and Hinderliter, De Llamas & Associates (HdL) for business license
administration, business license discovery/compliance/audit/collection services,
transient occupancy tax (TOT) administration, and cannabis business tax
administration services.
