1. Request to Reschedule the May 14, 2025, Regular City Council Meeting. (City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council reschedule the regular City\nCouncil meeting of May 14, 2025 to Monday, May 12, 2025.

10. It is recommended that the City Council receive and file the Donations Report for the month\nof March 2025. (City Council)

11. It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2025-21 titled:\n“A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL\nACCEPTING THE ANNUAL SLURRY SEAL PROJECT (CIP NO. 7094)\nAS COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PREPARE AND FILE\nTHE NOTICE OF COMPLETION WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY\nRECORDER”.\n2. Authorize staff to release retained construction contract amounts due to the\ncontractor thirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notice of Completion.

3. Gage Avenue Bridge Improvement Project – Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement\nwith Gannett Fleming, Inc. (City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve “Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Professional Services with Gannett\nFleming, Inc.”.\n2. 4. Gage Avenue Bridge Improvements Project – Approve Amendment No.2 to Metro Funding\nAgreement. (City Council)\nRecommendation: t is recommended that the City Council approve the amendment to the\nFunding Agreement between the City of Bell and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan\nAuthority for the Gage Avenue Bridge Improvements Project entitled, “Amendment No. 2 to\nMeasure R Funding Agreement Between the City of Bell and the Los Angeles County\nMetropolitan Transportation Authority.”

5. Adoption of a Resolution Directing Staff to Initiate the Property Owner Notice, Hearing, and\nProtest Process as Required by Proposition 218 for the Proposed Sewer Rates Effective July\n1, 2025 through June 30, 2030. (City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Accept a report prepared by Willdan Financial (Willdan) regarding the proposed sewer\nrates\n2. 6. Approval of a Letter of Intent between the City of Bell and Primestor for the property located\nat 6400 Atlantic Avenue. (City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council approve a Letter of Intent\nbetween the City of Bell and Primestor for the property located at 6400 Atlantic Avenue.

7. Consideration to Reschedule the Annual City Council Reorganization. (City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council reschedule its annual\nreorganization to the regular meeting on May 28, 2025.\nConsent Calendar\nThe following Consent Calendar items are expected to be routine and non-controversial. They\nare acted upon by the City Council and related authorities at one time without discussion. The\nreading of the full text of ordinances and resolutions will be waived unless a Councilmember\nrequests otherwise.\nRecommendation: Approve agenda items 8 through 12.
