Accept and Authorize the City Manager and Police Chief to administer the Office of Traffic\nSafety (OTS), Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Grant to reduce the number of\ntraffic fatalities and injuries. (City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the acceptance of the OTS STEP grant; and\n2. Read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution 2025-54 titled:\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nBELL AUTHORIZING AN INTER-FUND ADVANCEMENT, IN\nTHE AMOUNT OF $95,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND\nUNRESTRICTED FUND BALANCE TO THE POLICE\nDEPARTMENT’S OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY FUND\nACCOUNT FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING OVERTIME\nTO REDUCE TRAFFIC COLLISIONS
