(City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Ratify the Contract Services Agreement with Capitol Roofing in the amount of $67,900\nfor Emergency repairs of the Bell Library roof located at 4411 East Gage Avenue\n2. Ratify a change order in the amount of $1,410.00 for ponding prevention build-up deck\nrepairs, resulting in a total project amount of $69,310\n3. Read by title only, waive further reading and adopt Resolution 2026-22 titled:\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BELL\nAUTHORIZING A FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 BUDGET\nAMENDMENT TO APPROPRIATE $69,310 FROM THE\nGENERAL FUND (ACCOUNT NO. 001-74-68-0000-000-6100 -\nOUTSIDE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES) FOR EMERGENCY\nROOF REPAIRS AT THE CITY OF BELL LIBRARY LOCATED\nAT 4411 EAST GAGE AVENUE

7. Request to Set a Public Hearing on July 22, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. to Consider the Creation of\nLiens/Special Assessment to Collect Delinquent Rubbish Fees. (City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council schedule a Public Hearing on\nWednesday, July 22, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. to consider the recording of liens to collect the\ndelinquent rubbish fees against the properties listed on the final report of delinquent accounts.

(City Council)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council receive comments from the\npublic, conduct a budget workshop on May 27th and set a public hearing date of June 10th,\n2026, for adoption.\nConsent Calendar\nThe following Consent Calendar items are expected to be routine and non-controversial. They\nare acted upon by the City Council and related authorities at one time without discussion. The\nreading of the full text of ordinances and resolutions will be waived unless a Councilmember\nrequests otherwise.\nRecommendation: Approve agenda items 9 and 10.
