Cañon Drive Tenant Building\nPartial Roofing Replacement Project, as follows:\n1. Approve the award of a contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Pacific Single\nPly Roofing, Inc. for the 438 N. Beverly - 439 N. Cañon Drive Tenant Building Partial\nRoofing Replacement Project in the amount of $743,519.00; and\n2. Approve a construction contingency in the amount of $74,351.00 (10%); and\n3. AMENDING ARTICLE 47 OF CHAPTER 3 OF TITLE 10 OF THE BEVERLY\nHILLS MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING NON-STOREFRONT, DELIVERY-\nONLY MEDICAL CANNABIS RETAIL AS A CONDITIONALLY PERMITTED\nUSE FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED IN PORTIONS OF THE C-3 ZONE AND\nADDING ARTICLE 23 TO CHAPTER 2 OF TITLE 4 OF THE BEVERLY HILLS\nMUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING REGULATORY AND OPERATIONAL\nRESTRICTIONS FOR SUCH RETAILERS AND MAKING A DETERMINATION\nOF EXEMPTION FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT.\n– For Adoption\nComment: The ordinance incorporates proposed code changes to the Beverly Hills\nMunicipal Code for compliance with SB 1186 which requires cities to allow for the\nestablishment of physical premises from which retail sale by delivery of medicinal\ncannabis within the City is conducted by a licensed non-storefront retailer (i.e. non-\nstorefront, delivery-only medical cannabis retail businesses) subject to reasonable\nregulations on the non-storefront, delivery-only medical cannabis retail businesses.\nConsistent with the current code, no other commercial cannabis businesses will be\nallowed in Beverly Hills.
