LINDBERGH,\nJOHN BEAT, SAN ANTONIO AND SAN MARINO ADA PARK IMPROVEMENTS\nPROJECT\nPurpose: Authorize the Public Works Department and City Clerk’s Office to reject the bids\nreceived on March 27, 2023, for the Charles A. Lindbergh Park, John Beat Park,\nSan Antonio Park and San Marino Park Project, and re-advertise the project for bids.\nRecommended Action: 1) Reject all bids; and 2) Authorize the City Clerk to re-advertise\nthe project for bids.

APPROVE PARCEL MAP NO. 2020-156 AT 8300 VALLEY VIEW STREET\nPurpose: To subdivide an existing 3.228-acre parcel into two parcels of 1.766 acres and\n1.462 acres at 8300 Valley View Street, Buena Park.\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve Parcel Map No. 2020-156 at 8300 Valley View Street;\nand 2) Authorize the City Engineer and City Clerk to execute the parcel map.

13. RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE HIGH SPEED RAIL\nAUTHORITY (HSRA) TO INVESTIGATE AND REVIEW PROPOSED HIGH SPEED RAIL\nALIGNMENT\nPurpose: To allow the HSRA to reimburse the City for time spent reviewing\ntechnical/engineering plans, agreements, and researching property rights and utility\nconflicts. The total reimbursement amount to the City is $100,000.\nRecommended Action: 1) Resolution to approve an agreement with the High Speed Rail\nAuthority (HSRA) to review the proposed high speed rail alignment; 2) Authorize the City\nManager and City Attorney to make any necessary, non-monetary changes to the\nagreement; and, 3) Authorize the Director of Public Works to execute the agreement.
