Adoption of a Resolution to Approve Design and Construction Services to\nSupport the Regional Intermodal Transportation Center Solar Project, Authorize\nthe BWP General Manager to Negotiate and Execute the Design-Build Contract\nwith Baker Electric and Renewables, LLC and Authorize the Assistant General\nManager (Power Supply) or Their Designee to Approve Plans and\nSpecifications to Retain Design Immunity - Burbank Water and Power\nDepartment\nRecommendation:\nAdopt A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURBANK\nAPPROVING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE\nREGIONAL INTERMODAL TRANSPORTATION CENTER (RITC) SOLAR\nPROJECT, AUTHORIZING THE BWP GENERAL MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE\nAND EXECUTE THE DESIGN-BUILD CONTRACT AS WELL AS ANY\nANCILLARY DOCUMENTS AND AMENDMENTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY\nWITH BAKER ELECTRIC & RENEWABLES LLC, AND AUTHORIZING THE\nASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER (POWER SUPPLY) OR THEIR DESIGNEE\nTO APPROVE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.

Adoption of a Resolution Authorizing Acceptance of the 2023 Grant Agreement\nwith the United States Department of Justice for Law Enforcement Virtual\nReality Training, and Any Future Amendments, Acceptance of $16,298 in Grant\nFunds, and Amending the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Budget by Appropriating Funds –\nPolice Department\nRecommendation:\nAdopt A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURBANK\nAUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE\n2023 GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF\nJUSTICE FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT VIRTUAL REALITY TRAINING, AND\nANY FUTURE AMENDMENTS, ACCEPTING $16,298 IN GRANT FUNDS AND\nAMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING\nFUNDS.

Introduction of an Ordinance Amending Title 10 of the Burbank Municipal Code\nto Update the Existing Development Standards for Art in Public Places to\nAuthorize Post-Security Areas of the Hollywood Burbank Airport as Eligible\nPlaces for Public Art - Community Development Department\nRecommendation:\nIntroduce AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nBURBANK AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 1 (ZONING) OF THE BURBANK\nMUNICIPAL CODE TO UPDATE THE EXISTING DEVELOPMENT\nSTANDARDS FOR ART IN PUBLIC PLACES TO AUTHORIZE POST-\nSECURITY AREAS OF THE HOLLYWOOD BURBANK AIRPORT AS ELIGIBLE\nPLACES FOR PUBLIC ART.

Adoption of an Extension of an Urgency Ordinance Extending Interim\nDevelopment Standards in Response to Senate Bill 423, which added California\nGovernment Code Section 65913.4(r) and 10-Day Report - Community\nDevelopment Department\nRecommendation:\nAdopt AN EXTENSION OF AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURBANK EXTENDING INTERIM\nDEVELOPMENT STANDARDS IN RESPONSE TO SENATE BILL 423 (requires\n4/5th vote for adoption).
