11. Clean California Community Designation Program Recommendation: Approve the Environmental Commission and Public Works Department to proceed with pursuing the Clean California Cities Certification, a Caltrans program.

Legislative Advocacy Position on Pending County Legislation Recommendation: Consider the City’s legislative advocacy position and authorize staff to communicate the City’s opposition to a proposed ordinance by Los Angeles County to legalize commercial cannabis uses in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Hinderliter, de Llamas & Associates for Sales & Transaction and Use Tax Analysis and Reporting Recommendation: Approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Hinderliter, de Llamas & Associates for Sales & Use Tax Analysis and Reporting and Sales & Use Tax Audit Services to 1) expand the scope of services to include transaction and use tax (Measure K) analysis, reporting, and audit services, and 2) increase the total contract amount by $20,000, from $130,000 to not-to-exceed $150,000.
