A. Update on Emergency Actions Related to Tropical Storm Hilary\nRecommendation: Update on Status of Emergency Proclamation, Resolution\n2023-29.\nUpdate on Emergency Actions taken by City, County,\nState of Federal Agencies.\nPossible consideration of additional measures to be\ntaken. Council may add items not listed on the agenda\npursuant to Government Code section 54954.2 by\nmajority vote.

B. Authorize Emergency Funding for Cleanup, Repairs and Emergency\nProtective Measures Resulting from the August 20, 2023 Tropical Storm\nHilary Damages.\nRecommendation: To authorize the City Manager to execute task\norders/purchase orders/contracts in the amount of\n$1,062,000 for the Phase I Emergency Response Work for\nDebris Removal (Cleanup) and Emergency Protective\nMeasures resulting from the August 20, 2023 Tropical Storm\nHilary impacts; and, approve a General Fund appropriation\nin the amount of $1,062,000 to fund this initial Phase I\nEmergency Response Work.

Rejection of Proposals for Professional Labor Compliance Monitoring\nand Enforcement Services for the Dream Homes Park Project\nRecommendation: To reject the one (1) proposal received for Professional\nLabor Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Services for\nthe Dream Homes Park Project; and, authorize the City\nEngineer to re-advertise the Request for\nQualifications/Proposals for the before mentioned services.

E. Accept GPS Tourism Grant by the Greater Palm Springs Tourism\nFoundation in the Amount of $29,926\nRecommendation: To approve and accept the $29,926 GPS Tourism Grant by\nthe Greater Palm Springs Tourism Foundation.

F. Special Use Permit 23-007 for the Cathedral City High School\nHomecoming Parade Scheduled to be held on September 28, 2023\nRecommendation: To approve Special Use Permit 23-007 for the Cathedral\nCity High School Homecoming Parade on Sept. 28, 2023,\nand waive the application fee.

G.
