E.\nZoning Ordinance Amendment 25-0005 - An amendment to Chapter\n9.114 (Accessory Dwelling Units) of Title 9 Planning and Zoning of the\nCathedral City Municipal Code for consistency with new State\nlegislation regulating accessory dwelling units.\nRecommendation: To provide second reading, by title only, and adopt an\nordinance amending Chapter 9.114 (Accessory Dwelling Units) of Title 9\nPlanning and Zoning of the Cathedral City Municipal Code for consistency\nwith new State legislation regulating accessory dwelling units.

F.\nRatification of Agreement Between the City of Cathedral City and The\nAmerican Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees\n(AFSCME)\nRecommendation: To ratify the agreement between the City of Cathedral\nCity ("City") and The American Federation of State, County and Municipal\nEmployees ("AFSCME") via the Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") for\nthe period of January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028.

G.\nConsideration of Support for Senate Bill 872 (SB 872) – State Water\nInfrastructure Funding\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt a position\nof support for Senate Bill 872 (SB 872) and authorize the City Manager to\nsign a letter of support on behalf of the City of Cathedral City.

H.\nTo Oppose AB 1383 (McKinnor) Public Employees' Retirement Benefits\nRecommendation: To oppose AB 1383 (McKinnor) Public Employees\nRetirement Benefits and authorize the City Manager to sign a letter of\nopposition on behalf of the City of Cathedral City.
