In addition, verbal reports will also be\nprovided in such cases where the City Council-appointed delegate and/or\nalternate is unable to attend a scheduled meeting, and there is\ninsufficient time to schedule an agenda item for Council consideration of\nanother alternate, necessitating a Mayor's urgency appointment.\nRequests may also be made of staff for reports which will be presented\nto the City Council at a subsequent meeting, or for the scheduling of\nfuture agenda items.
