9.\nAdopt resolution by four-fifths vote of City Council pursuant to Public Contracts Code\nSection 20168 finding emergency exists within City, authorizing City Manager to contract\nwith R&R B Inc., dba Servpro of Chino/Chino Hills, TK Elevator Corporation, Pivot Interiors,\nInc., and other contractors, as needed, without need for competitive bidding pursuant to\nSection 22050, and finding project exempt from review under California Environmental\nQuality Act as emergency repair; authorize City Manager to negotiate and execute all\nnecessary agreements and amendments to agreements related to repair and restoration of\nCity Hall, including but not limited to, R&R B Inc., dba Servpro of Chino/Chino Hills and TK\nElevator Corporation, Pivot Interiors, Inc., and other contractors as needed, for remediation\nof fire and water damage to, and reconstruction of, building, elevator, cubicles, and\npurchase of replacement workstations pursuant to Chino Hills Municipal Code Section\n2.08.065.A.1; direct staff to place item on agenda of next regularly scheduled City Council\nmeeting, and at each subsequent regularly scheduled meeting thereafter, to review\nemergency action and determine, by four-fifths vote, whether there is need to continue the\naction; and find all above actions are exempt from review under California Environmental\nQuality Act as emergency repairs\nPUBLIC HEARING - This portion of the City Council Agenda is for all matters that legally require an\nopportunity for public input.
