Approve the project alignment for the joint trench utility to be\nconstructed west of the Bay Shore Bikeway predominantly in\nCaltrans right­of­way and authorize staff to negotiate with Caltrans\nfor approval.\n2. Appropriate an additional $550,000 from CDA Loan Fund, Fund 160, to the\noverall project budget to facilitate the completion or ability to complete all\neasements, permits, environmental analysis, plans and specifications to\nconstruct Phase I and position the City to be able to obtain other\nfunding/grants for Phase II.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to approve/amend agreements with\nconsultants to complete the design of the project in preparation for\nconstruction all within the project budget.

Spreckels Center and Lawn Bowling Green (JDSC) Emergency Generator\nProject.”

SILVER STRAND UNDERGROUNDING PROJECT: ADOPT A RESOLUTION\nDESIGNATING THE BOUNDARY FOR THE SILVER STRAND\nUNDERGROUNDING PROJECTS, SELECTING THE PORTION BETWEEN\nCROWN COVE AND CORONADO BAY ROAD AS CORONADO’S 20A\nPROJECT; ALLOCATE ALL OF THE CITY’S 20A WORK CREDITS FROM\nSDGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,845,596 TO SAID LOCATION TO\nUNDERGROUND THE OVERHEAD UTILITIES; AND APPROPRIATE\nADDITIONAL FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $550,000 TO THE PROJECT\nBUDGET\nRecommendation:\n1. Adopt a Resolution (Attachment 1) designating the boundary for the Silver\nStrand Undergrounding Projects, selecting the portion between Crown\nCove and Coronado Bay Road as Coronado’s 20A project and allocate all of\nthe City’s 20A work credits from SDGE in the amount of $2,845,596 to\nunderground the remaining overhead utilities in said location.

AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A STORM DRAIN\nEASEMENT WITH THE SAN DIEGO UNIFIED PORT DISTRICT AND\nAGREEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FIRST STREET STORM WATER\nPUMP STATION FLOOD RELIEF PROJECT, APPROVAL OF SOLE SOURCE\nELEMENTS OF THE PROJECT’S DESIGN, PURCHASE A PRE­PACKAGED\nPUMP STATION, AND ADVERTISE THE PROJECT\nRecommendation: Authorize the City Manager to execute a storm drain easement\nwith the San Diego Unified Port District and agreements associated with the First\nStreet Storm Water Pump Station Flood Relief Project, all in a form approved by\nthe City Attorney, and approval of sole source elements of the project’s design,\npurchase of a pre­packaged pump station, and advertise the project.
