1. AWARD OF STREET SWEEPING SERVICES 23-1186\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends the City Council:\n1. Award a Maintenance Services Agreement (MSA) for citywide street\nsweeping services to Sweeping Corp of America (SCA) for an initial\ntwo-year period with three one-year renewal periods for a not to exceed\nannual amount of $1,467,791.\n2. Authorize a ten percent (10%) contingency annually for emergency\nresponse, special events and other unforeseen costs and approval for\nConsumer Price Index (CPI) escalation and de-escalation.\n3. 2. CONSIDERATION OF MODEL FLYING ACTIVITY AT FAIRVIEW23-1190\nPARK\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends that an environmental compatibility and biological resource\nassessment be completed by MIG Consulting LLC, as envisioned by the\nFairview Park Master Plan Update, including the existing flying field location\nand/or other potential locations at Fairview Park, and that the temporary\nsuspension of flying field activity be continued until such assessment is\ncompleted, due to current biological activity at the site.\nAttachments: 1.
