ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2025-08 - AMENDING TITLE 5:\nBUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES AND TITLE 7: FIRE PROTECTION\nAND PREVENTION OF THE COSTA MESA MUNICIPAL CODE;\nADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 2025 CALIFORNIA BUILDING\nSTANDARDS CODE, INCLUDING SPECIFIED APPENDICES AND\nLOCAL AMENDMENTS, AND ADOPTING THE ORANGE COUNTY\nGRADING AND EXCAVATION CODE AND ASSOCIATED\nSUPPLEMENTS\n25-566\nRECOMMENDATION:\nStaff recommends the City Council:\n1.
