Establish a contingency allowance of $10,000 for additional abatement\nservices, if needed.

14.o Consideration of Resolutions Relating to Covina's General Municipal Election 291\nto be Held on March 5, 2024\nStaff Recommendation:\n1. Adopt Resolution CC 2023-100 calling for and giving notice of the holding\nof a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, for the\nelection of certain officers as required by the provisions of the laws of the State\nof California relating to General Law Cities and requesting the Registrar of\nVoters of the County of Los Angeles to conduct said Election and canvass the\nresults;\n2. Adopt Resolution CC 2023-101 requesting the Board of Supervisors of the\nCounty of Los Angeles to consolidate a General Municipal Election to be held\non March 5, 2024, with the Statewide Primary Election to be held on the date\npursuant to §10403 of the Elections Code; and\n3. Adopt Resolution CC 2023-102 adopting regulations for candidates for\nelective office pertaining to candidates' statements submitted to the voters at an\nElection to be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
