NB 1. Introduction of Ordinance 25-13, Amending Title 14, Building and Construction, of the\nCovina Municipal Code\nStaff Recommendation:\n1. Waive full reading, read by title only, and introduce Ordinance 25-13 entitled “An\nOrdinance of the City Council of the City of Covina adopting by reference codes\ncomprising the 2025 Edition of the California Building Standards Code (California\nCode Of Regulations, Title 24, Parts 1 - 12), including the 2025 Editions of the\nCalifornia Administrative Code, California Building Code Volumes 1 and 2\nincluding Appendices A B, D, F, I, J, N, O and P, California Residential Code\nincluding Appendices AA, BB, BF, BG, BH, BI, BJ, BK, BL, BM, BN, BO, CI, and\nCJ, California Green Building Standards Code, California Mechanical Code,\nCalifornia Plumbing Code, California Electrical Code, California Fire Code,\nCalifornia Existing Building Code, California Energy Code, California Historical\nBuilding Code, California Referenced Standards Code, and the California WildlandUrban Interface Code, together with certain additions, insertions, deletions and\nchanges, amending Title 14 of the Covina Municipal Code, and approving a CEQA\nexemption determination”; and\n2.\nSchedule a public hearing for December 2, 2025, to receive public input on the\nproposed adoption by reference of the aforementioned Codes.
