A. Consideration to Review and Approve the Draft Minutes of March 19, 2024, for the Regular\nMeeting of the City Council and the Joint Meeting of the City of Cudahy as Successor Agency and\nHousing Successor Agency to the Cudahy Development Commission (page 7)\nPresented by the City Clerk\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to review and approve the City Council /\nSuccessor Agency Draft Minutes for March 19, 2024.

A. Adoption by First Reading of Ordinance No. 741 Amending Cudahy Municipal Code Section\n10.04.020 (Vehicle Weight Limits) by adding Patata Street to the list of streets where vehicles\nexceeding 6,000 pounds are prohibited (page 17)\nPresented by the Community Development Director\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Open the public hearing and receive comments; and\n2. Adopt by first reading Ordinance No. 741 (Attachment A), an\namendment to the Cudahy Municipal Code (“CMC”) Section\n10.04.020 (Vehicle Weight Limits) by adding Patata Street to the list of\nstreets where vehicles exceeding 6,000 pounds are prohibited; and\n3. Schedule a second reading of Ordinance No. 741 at the next regularly\nscheduled City Council meeting on April 16, 2024; and\n4. Find the Project exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (“CEQA”) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 150601(b)(3).

A. Clara Park Renovations Project Presentation 100% Design (page 33)\nPresented by the Community Services Director\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to receive a presentation and provide\nfeedback.

B. Cudahy Park Renovations Project Presentation 65% Design (page 53)\nPresented by the Community Services Director\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to receive a presentation and provide\nfeedback.

C. Request to Enter into an Agreement with Nunez & Nunez Consultant (page 57)\nPresented by the Parks and Recreation Manager\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to enter into\nan agreement with Nunez & Nunez Consulting Services, Inc. to provide\ncamping trips to high school-age youth.

D. Request to Authorized the City Manager to Enter into an Agreement with RCX Sports, LLC (MLS\nGO) (page 77)\nPresented by the Parks and Recreation Manager\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to enter into\nan agreement with RCX Sports, LLC (MLS GO). To become an MLS Go\nOperator and allow the city to use the MLS logos for marketing purposes\nand the right to operate and manage the youth recreational program\nknown as MLS GO.

E. Transtech Proposal for Public Works Oversight Services (page 111)\nPresented by the Community Development Director\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to execute\nTranstech Proposal for Public Works Oversight Services.

F. Resolution to Oppose Initiative 21-0042A1, the Taxpayer Protection and Government\nAccountability Act (page 121)\nPresented by the Director of Finance\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to adopt Resolution No. 24-07 opposing\nInitiative 21-0042A1, referred to as the “Taxpayer Protection and\nGovernment Accountability Act” (the “Measure”).

G. Discussion – November 5, 2024 Election, Parcel Assessment Ballot Initiative (page 131)\nPresented by the Director of Finance\nRecommendation: The City Council is recommended to discuss and if necessary, provide\ndirection to move forward with all requirements associated with adding a\nballot initiative increasing the annual levies on the properties within the\nLighting Assessment District in the November 5, 2024 election.
