First Amendment to Professional Services Agreement for Public Works Oversight Services with \nTranstech Engineers (page 37) \nPresented by the Assistant to the City Manager \nRecommendation: \nThe City Council is requested to consider adoption of the proposed First \nAmendment to Professional Services Agreement for Public Works \nOversight Services with Transtech Engineers.

B. First Amendment to Professional Services Agreement for Senior Engineer - Capital Improvement \nProject (CIP) Management Services with Transtech Engineers (page 67) \nPresented by the Assistant to the City Manager \nRecommendation: \nThe City Council is requested to consider adoption of the proposed First \nAmendment to the Professional Services Agreement for Senior Engineer \nCapital Improvement Project (CIP) Management Services with Transtech \nEngineers.

C. First Amendment to Professional Services Agreement for Remote and On-site Translation Services \n(page 101) \nOctober 1, 2024, at 6:30 P.M. \nPresented by the City Clerk \nRecommendation: \nIt is recommended that the City Council award a Professional Services \nAgreement (PSA) to Language Network, Inc., (Language Network) to \nprovide remote and On-Site Spanish Translation Services for a one-year \nterm, with an option for two (2) one-year extension terms, with the total \nservices not to exceed $42,000 annually.

D. Discussion and Potential Adoption of Ordinance No. 757 Amending Section 3.04.080 (Sufficient \nMoney in Treasury) of Chapter 3.04 (City Funds and Records) of Title 3 (Revenue and Finance) of \nthe Cudahy Municipal Code (page 157) \nPresented by the City Attorney \nRecommendation: \nThe City Council is recommended to take the following actions: \n1. Waive full reading and introduce Ordinance No. 757, by title only, \namending Section 3.04.080 (Sufficient Money In Treasury) of Chapter \n3.04 (City Funds and Records) of Title 3 (Revenue and Finance) of the \nCudahy Municipal Code; and \n2. Determine that this action is exempt from the California \nEnvironmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines \nSection 15061 (b)(3).
