Formation of the Cudahy Landscaping and Lighting District and Annual Levy of Assessments\nBeginning FY 2025/26 (page 139)\nPresented by the Finance Director\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to:\n1. Approve Resolution No. 25-03, initiating proceedings to form the\nCudahy landscaping and lighting district, which calls for the\npreparation and filing of the engineer’s report regarding the\nformation of the district and the levy of assessments; and\n2. Approve Resolution No. 25-04, declaring the city’s intention to form\nthe Cudahy landscaping and lighting district, to levy assessments\ncommencing in fiscal year 2025/2026, preliminarily approve and file\nthe engineer’s report, to conduct a property owner protest ballot\nproceeding for the assessments, and sets the time and place for the\npublic hearing.
