CONTINUING THE EMERGENCY REPAIR OF THE ESCONDIDO TRUNK SEWER MAIN\nRequest the City Council take the following actions:\nAdopt Resolution No. 2024-106, declaring that pursuant to the terms of Section 22050 of the California\nPublic Contract Code, the City Council finds there is a need to continue the emergency repair of the\nEscondido Trunk Sewer Main. FY 2023 State Homeland Security Grant Program and Budget Adjustment\nRequest the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2024-109 to authorize the Escondido Police Department to\naccept FY 2023 State Homeland Security Grant funds in the amount of $86,760; authorize the Chief of\nPolice or his designee to execute grant documents on behalf of the City; and approve budget adjustments\nneeded to spend grant funds. The County of San Diego Office of Emergency Services has authorized the\nCity of Escondido to spend its funds on equipment to support regional public safety projects.
