10.A JUNE 18, 2024 MEETING:\nENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT # 10-24, GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT # 1-\n24, ZONE CHANGE # 1-24, AND ZONE TEXT AMENDMENT #4-24\nThe Planning Commission considered making a recommendation to the City\nCouncil on Certification of an EIR, adoption of findings, and statement of overriding\nconsiderations; readoption of General Plan land use plan designation changes and\ntext amendments and readoption of Zoning changes and zone text amendments\nfor the 468 Inventory Sites identified in the 2021-2029 Gardena Housing Element,\nand additional updates to the city's zoning map, addressing split-zoned properties,\nand refining zoning text.\nCommission Action: The Planning Commission approved Resolution No. PC 14-\n24, by a vote of 5-0, recommending the City Council adopt Resolutions Nos. 6676\nand 6677, and Ordinance No. 1873, to certify the Final EIR and readopt the land\nuse plan, zoning designations, and text amendments, along with additional clean-\nup modifications.\nCity Council Action: Received and file.
