10.A AUGUST 20, 2024 - MEETING:\nCONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #3-24, ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT #6-24\nThe Planning Commission reviewed a request for a conditional use permit and\npublic convenience or necessity to allow the sale of beer and wine for on-site\nconsumption in an existing cigar lounge located at 14512 Crenshaw Blvd, and\nexemption request from the provisions of CEQA pursuant to Guidelines Section\n15301 and 15061(b)(3).\nCommission Action: The Planning Commission approved Resolution No. PC 15-\n24, by a vote of 4-0, approving Conditional Use Permit #3-24, made the findings for\npublic convenience or necessity, and directed staff to file a Notice of Exemption.\nCity Council: Receive and file.

10.B AUGUST 20, 2024 - MEETING:\nZONE TEXT AMENDMENT #5-24 - ORDINANCE NO. 1875\nThe Planning Commission considered a recommendation to the City Council on\nadoption of Ordinance No. 1875 amending GMC Chapter 18.66 and Section\n18.36.020 relating to allowing non-storefront retail medicinal cannabis delivery\nservices businesses in the M-1 and M-2 zoning districts and finding the exempt\nunder the common sense exemption of CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).\nCommission Action: The Planning Commission approved Resolution No. PC 16-\n24, by a vote of 3-1, recommending the City Council adopt Ordinance No. 1875\nand find the project exempt from the provisions of CEQA.\nCity Council: Receive and file.
