Approve a contract with Placeworks, Inc. to Prepare Objective Design Standards for the Zoning\nCode, thereby replacing existing Subjective Design Guidelines and Prepare Accompanying\nCEQA Documents in an Amount Not to Exceed $150,150 (File No. PLN22-0042)\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Approve a contract with PlaceWorks, Inc. to prepare objective\ndesign standards for residential, commercial, and qualifying mixed use development types for\nthe zoning code (and specific area plans), thereby replacing existing subjective design guidelines\nand prepare the accompanying environmental determination documents for an amount not to\nexceed $136,500 plus a 10% contingency of $13,650, for a total not-to-exceed amount of\n$150,150 (File No. PLN22-0042). 2. Approve an appropriation from the General Plan\nMaintenance Fund (263) in the amount of $150,150; and 3. Adopt a City Council Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION\nOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDORA, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING\nPROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNUAL ASSESSMENT LEVY, WITH RESPECT TO THE\nLANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24\nPURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF PART 2 OF DIVISION 15 OF THE STREETS AND\nHIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA;” 2.
