Continued Public Hearing considering an Ordinance amending the Glendora Municipal Code to\nbring it into compliance with State law and streamline construction of ADU and SB 9 units\nconsistent General Plan Housing Element (File # PLN23-0035) (Continued from the April 9,\n2024 City Council meeting)\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: Reopen Public Hearing, accept evidence and testimony presented,\nand in the absence of testimony to the contrary consider the following: 1. Find and determine that\nthe Proposed Ordinance is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\n(Attachment A); and 2. Introduce for first reading an Ordinance entitled: “An ordinance of the\nCity Council of the City of Glendora, California amending certain sections of Title 21 (Zoning)\nof the Glendora Municipal Code to bring it into compliance with State law and streamline the\nconstruction of Accessory Dwelling Units and SB 9 units consistent with the City’s 6th RHNA\nCycle (2021-2029) General Plan Housing Element (File # PLN23-0035)” (Attachment A); and 3.\nIf applicable, direct Staff to proceed with one of the options for revising the draft ordinance\nregarding the maximum allowable size of new primary units on new lots created through an SB 9\nlot split; and 4. Direct the preparation of a summary of the ordinance for publication pursuant to\nGovt Code 36933 and Resolution CC 2018-40.
