ATPL-5150(014)\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Award the Professional Services Agreement to Southstar Engineering and\nConsulting, Inc. for construction management and inspection services as part of\nthe oversight of CIP 2018-11 ATP Cycle IV Project No. ATPL-5150(014) for a not-\nto-exceed amount of $248,080;\n2. 7. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL TO SUBMIT CLEAN CALIFORNIA LOCAL\nGRANT PROGRAM CYCLE 2 FUNDING APPLICATION\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Approve staff to submit the Clean California Local Grant Program Cycle 2\napplication to the California Department of Transportation; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to sign all applicable documents.

8. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL TO SOLICIT PROPOSALS FOR THE\nPREPARATION OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATE OF CIP 2022-12\nWATER QUALITY GREEN STREETS PROJECT ON SALT LAKE AVENUE\nBETWEEN WALNUT STREET AND SANTA ANA STREET\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Authorize staff to publish and solicit a Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified\narchitectural/engineering firms for the preparation of Plans, Specifications and\nEstimate of CIP 2022-12 Water Quality Green Streets Project on Salt Lake\nAvenue between Walnut Street and Santa Ana Street.

9. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF AWARD OF A PROFESSIONAL\nSERVICES AGREEMENT FOR PREPARATION OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,\nAND ESTIMATE TO ENHANCE THE PLAYGROUNDS AS PART OF CIP 2022-03\nSALT LAKE PARK AND CIP 2022-06 FREEDOM PARK\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Award a Professional Services Agreement (Attachment 1) for the preparation of\nPlans, Specifications, and Estimate of new playgrounds as part of CIP 2022-03\nSalt Lake Park and CIP 2022-06 Freedom Park to David Volz Design for a not-to-\nexceed amount of $49,932; and\n2. Authorize the appropriation of $24,966 into Account No. __________________\nas City staff seeks reimbursement of State funds as work progresses (Attachment\n2);\n3.
