CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NEW CLASSIFICATION, CLASS SPECIFICATION, SALARY GRID NUMBER AND SALARY RANGE FOR THE POSITION OF CRIME ANALYST; APPROVING AN UPDATED SALARY GRID NUMBER AND SALARY RANGE FOR THE POSITION OF SENIOR MAINTENANCE WORKER; AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 2009-36. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL: new classification, class specification, salary grid number and salary range for the position of Crime Analyst and approve an updated salary grid number and salary range for the position Senior Maintenance Worker. Adopt Resolution No. 2026-XX, Fixing the Rate of Taxes to Pay the Cost of the Public Employees Retirement System for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 and Levying Taxes for Said Retirement System to the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2026. 1. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COLLECTION OF DELINQUENT REFUSE CHARGES PURSUANT TO SECTION 6- REFUSE COLLECTION FEES) IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL: 1. Conduct a public hearing;

3. Adopt Resolution No. 2026-XX, Directing the County Assessor to include delinquent refuse collection fees as a special assessment to be collected at the same time and in the same manner as County taxes (172.54 Refuse Collection Fees). 2. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF THE ANNUAL SPECIAL TAX FOR LANDSCAPING SPECIAL TAX DISTRICT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL: 1. Conduct a public hearing; 2. Take public testimony; and 3. Adopt Resolution No. 2026-XX Establishing and Ordering the Levy and Lighting, Parks and Landscaping Special Tax District for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. CITY MANAGER 3. INTRODUCTION OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 4 OF THE HUNTINGTON PARK MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING THE REMOVAL OF THE CITY MANAGER IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL: 1. Conduct a public hearing; 2. Introduce, by title only, and waive further reading of the proposed ordinance amending Chapter 2, Article 4 of the Huntington Park Municipal Code regarding the removal of the City Manager; and 3. Direct staff to return the ordinance for second reading and adoption.

1. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MOU TO ENTER INTO PARTNERSHIPWITH TREEPEOPLE FOR TREE PLANTING PROGRAM IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL: 1. Approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Huntington Park and Tree People to continue their partnership on a U.S. Forest Service-funded tree planting program.

2. Authorize the City Manager to approve the MOU and any related documents necessary to implement the agreement and carry out the tree planting program in accordance with its terms.
