IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL:
1. Conduct a public hearing;
2. Introduce, by title only, and waive further reading of the proposed ordinance
amending Chapter 2, Article 4 of the Huntington Park Municipal Code regarding the
removal of the City Manager; and
3. Direct staff to return the ordinance for second reading and adoption.

1. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MOU TO ENTER INTO
PARTNERSHIPWITH TREEPEOPLE FOR TREE PLANTING PROGRAM
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL:
1. Approve the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of
Huntington Park and Tree People to continue their partnership on a U.S. Forest
Service-funded tree planting program.

2. Authorize the City Manager to approve the MOU and any related documents
necessary to implement the agreement and carry out the tree planting program in
accordance with its terms.
