(0620-40)\nRecommendation:\nThat the City Council hold the Public Hearings, consider public comments, and:\n1. Provide approval for the Project to move forward with final engineering; and\n2. Adopt Resolution 2023-16 approving an amendment to the circulation element of\nthe general plan (GPA 22-0005) to redesignate 9th Street from Calla Avenue to\nthe South Street end of 9th Street to accommodate new bike lanes as identified in\nthe City’s Bicycle Transportation Plan (June 2008); and\n3. Adopt Resolution 2023-17 approving a Coastal Development Permit (CP 22-0006)\nand categorical exemption pursuant to CEQA guidelines Section 15301 (Existing\nFacilities) and Section 15304 (Minor Alterations to Land) for enhancements to 9th\nStreet to improve mobility, accessibility, landscaping, and water quality while\naddressing infrastructure deficiencies along 9th Street from Calla Avenue to the\nSouth Street end of 9th Street.
