(1040-10)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends the City Council approve a special event permit application requested\nfrom San Diego Air Cooled to host their annual car on Sunday, September 22, 2024.\nApproval will include activating Pier Plaza as an event venue, closing Seacoast Drive from\nElkwood Avenue to Date Avenue, and parking cars on the Imperial Beach Pier.\nStaff also recommends the City Council consider approving the fee waiver request for the\nspecial event fees that are eligible for a fee waiver.
