3.8 COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FUND GRANT NOMINATIONS\nACTION:\n1) Approve Councilmember Liu's request for Community Partnership Fund\nGrant Nomination to Irvine Children's Fund in the amount of $1,000 in support\nof program costs.\n2) Authorize the City Manager to prepare and sign a funding agreement for the\norganization listed above.\n3.8\nPUBLIC HEARINGS\nPublic Hearings are scheduled for a time certain of 5 p.m., unless noticed otherwise, or\nas soon thereafter as possible. Those wishing to address the City Council during the\nPublic Hearing are requested to complete a form and provide it to the City Clerk prior to\nthe hearing. If 10 or fewer requests to provide public comments are submitted, each\nspeaker shall be limited to three (3) minutes. If between 11 and 15 speakers submit\nrequests to speak, each speaker shall be limited to two (2) minutes. If 16 or more\nrequests to speak are submitted, each speaker shall be limited to 90 seconds. The time\nlimit per speaker shall be established based on the number of requests to speak\nsubmitted to the City Clerk before the first speaker is called. Requests to speak\nsubmitted after the first speaker is called shall receive 90 seconds. These time limits\nmay be shortened or extended, or a cumulative limit on the time for all public speakers\nmay be imposed, at the discretion of the Mayor or by a majority vote of the City Council.\nPublic Hearings listed for continuance will be continued as noted and posting of this\nagenda serves as notice of continuation.
