FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT\nSERVICES FOR THE CITYWIDE TRAFFIC SIGNAL COORDINATION\nAND SIGNAL HEAD UPGRADES (CIP NO. 21112)\nRequested Action: That the City Council approve the Agreement between the City\nof Jurupa Valley and STC Traffic, Inc. of Carlsbad, California (Consultant) for\nConstruction Management and Construction Inspections (CM/CI) Services in the\namount of $263,630 for the Citywide Traffic Signal Coordination and Signal Head\nUpgrades (CIP No. 21112) and $132,200 for signal timing services for a not-to-\nexceed amount of $395,830.

G. AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO CROSSTOWN ELECTRICAL\n& DATA, INC. FOR THE CITYWIDE TRAFFIC SIGNAL COORDINATION\nAND SIGNAL HEAD UPGRADES (CIP NO. 21112)\n1. Requested Action: That the City Council award a construction contract to\nCrosstown Electrical & Data, Inc. in the amount of $1,865,590 for the\nCitywide Traffic Signal Coordination.\n2. Approve a project contingency in the amount of $186,559 (10% of bid\namount).\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement in substantially the\nform and format attached to the staff report as approved by the City\nAttorney.

B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – POTENTIAL LITIGATION.\nThe City Council will meet in closed session with the City Attorney pursuant to\nGovernment Code Section 54956.9(d)(2).(3) with respect to one matter of potential\nlitigation. A point has been reached where, in the opinion of the City Attorney,\nbased on existing facts and circumstances, there is a significant exposure to\nlitigation involving the City based on the letter to Assistant City Attorney Maricela\nMarroquin dated October 7, 2024 from Linda Klein, attorney for Warmington\nResidential with respect to the proposed project at 7586 Jurupa Road, which letter\nis available for public inspection from the Office of the City Clerk.
