ACCEPT DONATED FUNDS FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT FROM RUTH BIBB\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council\naccept Ruth Bibb’s donation; increase\nthe Fire Department Budget line item\n260-710FIR-6550 by $100 and direct\nStaff to file Form 801 with the Fair\nPolitical Practices Commission once the\nfunds have been spent

14. ADOPT LEGISLATIVE PLATFORM FOR 2024\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council\nadopt the Legislative Platform for 2024.

ADOPTION OF FAIR POLITICAL PRACTICES COMMISSION FORM 806\nRESOLUTION NO. 2024-01: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF\nTHE CITY OF LA HABRA HEIGHTS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING FAIR\nPOLITICAL PRACTICES COMMISSION FORM 806 REGARDING THE\nAPPOINTMENT OF COUNCIL MEMBERS TO OUTSIDE COMPENSATED\nPOSITIONS TO CONFORM WITH SECTION 18702.5 OF THE CALIFORNIA\nCODE OF REGULATIONS, AS AMENDED BY THE FAIR POLITICAL\nPRACTICES COMMISSION\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council\nadopt Resolution No. 2024-01 and direct\nthe City Clerk to post FPPC Form 806\non the City's website with the mandated\ninformation.

16. INSTALLATION OF LED LIGHT FIXTURES AT THE PARK\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\nA. Authorize the Finance Manager to amend FY 2023-24 budget to\nincrease account 101-450PWD-6610 by $2,354.10 for the parts and\nlabor; AND\nB. Authorize the Finance Manager to amend FY 2023-24 budget to\nincrease account 101-450PWD-6510 by $684.00 for the boom lift rental;\nAND\nC. Authorize staff to schedule Berokoff Electrical to complete the work.

17. CONSIDERATION AND DIRECTION REGARDING CITY PURCHASE OF\nTHE SURFACE PROPERTY AT 459 WEST ROAD, LA HABRA HEIGHTS\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council\nreview the proposed terms of the\npurchase of the Property, provide any\ndirection regarding such terms to City\nstaff, and indicate whether the Council is\nsupportive of finalizing the transaction.

REQUEST FOR PARK SPONSORSHIP - LA HABRA HEIGHTS\nIMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION (LHHIA) COMMUNITY YARD SALE EVENT\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council\napprove the annual sponsorship of the\nLHHIA Community Yard Sale based on\nthe finding that this event meets all the\ncriteria for City sponsorship.

19. CONSIDERATION AND DIRECTION REGARDING PURCHASE OF A TYPE 1\nFIRE ENGINE AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council\nauthorize the purchase of a Pierce\nSaber Triple Combination Engine from\nSouth Coast Fire Equipment, and\npurchase orders for: LA-RICS compliant\nradios and installation for the new Type\n1 Fire Engine and Type 3 Fire Engine\n772, new fire hose, extrication system,\nand Miller rope rescue system.
