Adopt Resolution No. 2024-26 supporting passage of Senate Bill 977,\nthe Fire Station Act, and House Resolution Number 1814; AND\nB. RESOLUTION NO. 2024-27: A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA HABRA\nHEIGHTS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE WITH\nWARE DISPOSAL, INC. FOR SOLID WASTE HANDLING SERVICES\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\nA. Adopt Resolution No. 2024-27 approving an exclusive franchise with\nWare Disposal, Inc. for solid waste handling services in the City; and\nB. and authorize the Mayor to sign the franchise agreement.\n2024 09 09 ITEM #17

18. PROPOSAL TO PREPARE UPDATED COST ALLOCATION PLAN AND A\nCITYWIDE FEE FOR SERVICE STUDY\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\nA. Select Revenue & Cost Specialists to perform the Cost Allocation Plan\nand Fee for Service Study;\nB. Direct the City Attorney to prepare the necessary contract; and\nC. 19. FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT –\nCONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION AWARD OF\nCONTRACT\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\nA. Award the Construction Management and Inspection contract to NV5 in\nthe amount of $168,159; AND\nB. Authorize the Finance Manager to amend the FY 2024-25 budget to\nincrease account number 101-450PWD-6830 by $72,186; AND\nC.
